XOOTIC Alumni Association
Xootic is the association of alumni and students of the OOTI ("Ontwerpersopleiding Technische Informatica", lit. Designers course Software Technology) program. Xootic's efforts are directed towards organizing various activities, providing the programme and its students with practical information, and increasing the familiarity of the industry with the OOTI programme.

OOTI program
OOTI is a technological design program provided by the Stan Ackermans Institute (SAI) of TU/e. It is one of the largest programs of SAI and the largest accredited software technology related program in The Netherlands. After successfully completing the program, trainees are awarded a Professional Doctorate in Engineering degree (PDEng).

Technische Universiteit Eindhoven
In 2006 the TU/e will celebrate its 50th anniversary! The TU/e is the commissioner of ten research schools recognized by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, as well as two of the six top research schools in the Netherlands and one of the four top technological institutes.
